After playing at a NYE party that included Russel Brand and Jo Whiley, Nigel Peirce was still nursing the Alka Seltzer when he played at his first wedding of 2009 on January 2nd at Priston Mill in Somerset. Martin & Kerrie staged a lovely wedding and the contingent of Irish dancers that did a turn on the floor to some traditional Irish folk music reminded Nigel of the scene with Kate Winslett below decks of the Titanic, just what was needed after a lively New Year.
